Antique white Krakauer upright console piano, 41" tall, manufactured in 1961. Completely tuned on May 7. Good condition, does not require repairs or reconditioning.
"The manufacture of Krakauer pianos is entirely confined to one high grade quality, the Krakauer piano, which was available in a wide variety of attractive designs in Grand and Vertical models. For many years the Krakauer is noted for exceptionally artistic and uniquely attractive case designs, durable construction, and an exceptionally rich tonal quality."
"During the 1960's a great deal of attention was paid to tone, beauty, construction and durability. Krakauer Bros. took a great deal of pride in workmanship. The materials and work were of top grade. The cabinets were doubly (cross-band) veneered to prevent checking or warping. Their pianos, both in the Grand and upright designs, are especially known for their remarkably appealing tonal qualities."
